New Attorneys In Our Office
We are pleased to announce several new attorneys in our office. In our Champaign office, we welcome Jennifer Mejia. She is a double graduate from Indiana University having earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2005 and a Juris Doctor in 2009. She joins our workers’ compensation staff having past experience handling workers’ compensation claims and Social Security Disability claims.
In our Carbondale office, we welcome Tricia Shelton. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in 1991 and her law degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 1994. She has extensive jury trial experience. She prosecuted criminals as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Effingham County and also Shelby County. In 2004, Tricia was elected the Johnson County State’s Attorney and served as the Chief Prosecutor on behalf of Johnson County for eight years. Obviously, she brings excellent trial skills with her and her knowledge of fraudulent activities is invaluable.
In the Chicago office to the workers’ compensation department, we welcome Evan Klug. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire in 2001. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2006. He has extensive past experience dealing with Social Security Disability claims. Both his legal and medical knowledge will be extremely helpful.
We are also fortunate to add two new associates to our civil department. We welcome Brett Levin. He received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University in 2007. He received his law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2011.
