Molly Wilson is a former Arbitrator with the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission, having been appointed by Governor Pat Quinn in 2013 and then reappointed by Governor Bruce Rauner in 2015. Shortly thereafter, Molly joined Rusin Law in 2016 trying cases at the Arbitration level, as well as arguing appeals before the Appellate Court.
Molly earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois in 2004 and her Juris Doctor from Southern Illinois University School of Law with honors in 2007. After graduation, she practiced civil litigation with a strong focus on workers’ compensation. In 2012, Molly joined the Illinois Attorney General’s Office as an Assistant Attorney General in the Workers’ Compensation Bureau where she aggressively defended the State of Illinois and tried dozens of cases at Arbitration before being appointed as an Arbitrator. In 2018, Molly was elected as State’s Attorney in her home county and spent the next six years serving her community by prosecuting criminal offenses.
Molly resides in Harrisburg with her five children, Jack, Ella, Caroline, Claire and Henry.
