Victoria Sonowo
Associate
Victoria Sonowo is an Associate in our Workers’ Compensation division. She received her Bachelor of Arts majoring in Legal Studies from Ball State University University in 2020. Victoria earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Law in 2024.
During law school, Victoria was a member of several student organizations. While in school, Victoria worked in the Pro Bono Litigation Clinic, where she obtained her 711 license. This allowed Victoria to provide legal representation in state and federal matters for traditionally underserved populations who could not afford or otherwise obtain legal services. Victoria also participated in the Moot Court competition in law school where she placed 3rd out of 11 teams. Victoria also gained experience working as a law clerk in a construction law firm.
Victoria was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2024 and joined Rusin Law in September 2024.
In her free time, Victoria enjoys reading, and spending time with friends and family.
