Carson A. Britton

Carson earned his Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Biological Sciences from Mississippi State University in 2014, where he graduated magna cum laude. While at Mississippi State, Carson was a scholarship athlete and member of the indoor and outdoor track and field and cross country teams, earning athletic and academic honors for four consecutive years. Carson relocated to Chicago, Illinois where he earned his law degree from The John Marshall Law School in 2017.
While enrolled in law school, Carson was a member of John Marshall’s Moot Court Honors Program and successfully competed in numerous Moot Court competitions. Carson was also a Teaching Assistant for second and third-year students in Appellate Legal Writing as well as a Teaching Assistant for first-year students in Fundamentals of Legal Writing.
Prior to joining Rusin & Maciorowski, Carson clerked for a prominent plaintiff’s medical malpractice firm in Chicago, Illinois where he gained valuable insight and experience in litigating medical-legal issues. Carson went on to practice in the areas of personal injury and medical malpractice before finding his niche in defending Workers’ Compensation claims.
Carson was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2017. He is currently a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
Carson is a classically trained pianist and passionate sports fan. When he is not practicing law, Carson enjoys playing the piano, traveling, exercising, and cheering on the Mississippi State Bulldogs and all of Chicago’s professional sports teams.
