Chad P. Thompson

Associate

Chad P. Thompson is an Associate in our Workers’ Compensation Department.

Chad earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University in 2019.  Chad majored in Political Science and minored in Spanish.  He also wrote for the BYU Political Review.  Chad went on to earn her Juris Doctor at Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2022.

While in law school, Chad worked in the Civitas ChildLaw Clinic.  He represented children in need of representation in domestic relations cases.  He also spent a semester as a judicial extern for Judge Thomas Kelley in the Circuit Court of Cook County Domestic Relations Division.  Through his position, he gained extensive experience in legal research and writing.

Chad also worked at several petitioners’ personal injury and workers compensation law firms as a law clerk.  He drafted and filed many Complaints at Law and helped provide several clients a favorable resolution to their claim.

He joined Rusin & Maciorowski in June of 2022 and was admitted to the Illinois Bar later that year.  Chad looks forward to using the skills he’s learned in law school and at petitioners’ workers compensation firms to enthusiastically serve his clients.

In his free time, Chad enjoys running, reading, and spending time with his family, friends, and dog.
