Jaclyn D. Jednachowski is a Partner in our Workers’ Compensation Department and also responsible for Associate Development. She is experienced in the areas of worker’s compensation, third party defense and insurance defense litigation.

Jaclyn earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with minors in History and Business from Indiana University in 2006, where she graduated with distinction. Jaclyn went on to earn her Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School in 2010. She completed Judicial Externships for The Honorable Bill Taylor and The Honorable Edward Washington II in the Cook County Circuit Court in 2008. After earning the distinction of Top 2 Advocates following completion of the Comparative Trial Advocacy Course completed in Dublin, Ireland, Jaclyn earned the opportunity to clerk for Mr. Justice Adrian Hardiman of the Supreme Court of Ireland and The Honorable Yvonne Murphy of the Criminal Courts of Ireland in 2010.

Prior to joining Rusin Law, Jaclyn worked at a defense firm defending employers in Worker’s Compensation matters. Jaclyn joined Rusin Law in April 2014. She has experience successfully trying cases at the Arbitration level and has obtained decisions where compensation was completely denied. Jaclyn has experience representing clients at all levels from Arbitration up through the Appellate Court, with favorable outcomes on appeal before the Commission, Circuit Court and Appellate Court.

Jaclyn is a member of the National Workers’ Compensation Defense Network, and has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers in 2020.

Outside of the office, Jaclyn enjoys spending time with her family and her three dogs. Jaclyn is an avid sports fan, and loves cheering on her Indiana Hoosiers and Chicago sports teams. Jaclyn has also coached mock trial and arbitration teams at her alma mater.
