Jeffery Frimpong is an Associate in our Workers’ Compensation Department.
Jeffery Frimpong has distinguished himself through academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to advocacy throughout his legal career. A Posse Foundation Scholar, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from DePauw University in 2017 before obtaining his Juris Doctor, along with a Certificate in Civil Advocacy, from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2023.
During law school, Jeffery earned numerous academic and leadership honors recognizing his dedication and achievement. His accomplishments include Dean’s List recognition, the Salnick Law Academic Achievement Award, selection as a Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Scholar, and designation as a Charles H. Walker Scholar and Fellow in 2020.
Prior to joining Rusin Law, Jeffery built a diverse litigation background through roles involving employment law and workers’ compensation matters. As a law clerk, he developed substantial experience in legal research, writing, case analysis, and litigation strategy. He also gained valuable experience defending medical malpractice and personal injury cases, further strengthening his skills in complex litigation and advocacy.
Outside of the office, he enjoys traveling, creating multimedia content, mentoring aspiring law students, listening to music, and spending quality time with family
